Initial Spawn

Quick issue I remember from earlier...
I had a friend log in for the first time earlier (Schermenn), and he spawned in the normal spawn (one with jobs and portals) opposed to the initial spawn maze. this proved a problem, as he was not able to use the rankup sign to promote himself from the default rank to member, meaning he could not do anything.
I'm wondering if the change has anything to do with a collision between the plugin that you have to set the initial spawn, and the newly installed multiverse, which also controls world spawns.
